The Thomson Elite seatpost is over 40% stronger than any other seatpost on the market. It has double the fatigue life of other models tested. The seatpost is made from high strength 7000 series aluminum, with the tube and head machined from one piece for superior strength and minimum weight. The seatpost is certified for mountain bikes and meets industry standards. It is lightweight, weighing approximately 201g for road bikes and 228g for mountain bikes. The seatpost has a long seat rail grip length to prevent bending and incorporates a bending fuse to prevent catastrophic failure. It can withstand high torque and has infinite tilt adjustment. The low profile clamps ensure no seat interference. The seatpost has passed extensive tests and is designed to absorb impact to protect the seat, rails, and rider.
