Nevis Cycles started in the 1980s in a shed and barn operated by Neil Parrish. In 2001 John and Maggie Thompson opened the Inverlochy branch. Andy Slater joined as shop manager in 2008. In 2010 John and Maggie took partial retirement and their son Ben Thompson took on the business. Since then Emma Holgate and John MacEachean have joined as co-owners. The number of staff has expanded to 12.
We offer bikes and accessories that we're happy riding or wearing. Almost all of our staff are qualified mechanics to Cytech 2 at least. We've been ranked in the top 10 of the UK cycle trade for our mechanics' expertise. We aim to offer honest repairs at fair prices and we will never present a customer with an unexpectedly high repair bill. We pay at least the Real Living Wage to all staff and try to do our bit to support the local community.
Our Cytech mechanics get 100s of bikes rolling again every year. Whether its a Bosch e-bike, carbon racing machine or a rusty old friend, drop it by at any time for a free initial assessment.
