Our roots go back to a barn in Spean Bridge operated by Neal Parrish. In 2001 John & Maggie Thompson opened the Inverlochy branch as it is now and expanded the business through hard work and a friendly community led vision. Nevis Cycles remained with the Thompson family for 20 years with their son Ben Thompson taking over the reins in 2009. John Thompson was responsible for bringing the first downhill race to Fort william and had a key role in developing the Witches Trails (now part of the Nevis Range Trail Centre). In 2011 a young local mechanic called John MacEachen started part time as a professional tea maker and is now sole owner of Nevis Cycles. With over 20 years experience in the cycle industry and some of the best qualified, knowledgeable and approachable staff in Scotland, we look forward to carrying forward the hardworking and friendly ethos of Neal and the Thompson Family.
