The new Ergon road saddle for men is designed to provide optimal comfort. Men have a specific pelvic anatomy and tend to sit more upright on the saddle. This can lead to higher pressure in the sensitive perineal area, causing discomfort. The SR Men saddle addresses this issue with its relief concept.The saddle features a falling relief channel with a cut-out, which helps evenly distribute pressure onto the sit bone and parts of the pubic blades. The Y-shape design ensures freedom of movement, even when riding in a low position common in road biking.To further enhance comfort, the saddle includes OrthoCell®-Inlays in the seating area, which help distribute pressure better. The large-area pressure distribution design ensures optimal pressure distribution in the sit and pubic bones area. The top-quality padding foams provide added cushioning.The relief channel and cut-out design effectively relieve pressure on the sensitive perineal area, without sacrificing the durability of the saddle. This construction prevents discomfort and numbness in the genital area.The Y-shape design maximizes freedom of movement and legroom while providing support to all bone structures. The added ramp supports the bottom in a forward-tilted riding position, relieving pressure in the genital area.The saddle surface is flat, allowing for a more upright pelvis orientation and greater freedom of movement. It also features a convenient removable mount for accessories like Topeak® saddle bags.The SR Road Pro Men saddle is made with a carbon composite shell, TiNox rails, and a microfibre cover.
