The new Ergon road saddle for men is designed to provide maximum comfort and relief for cyclists. Men tend to sit more upright on the saddle, which can create higher pressure in the perineal area. This can lead to discomfort and other issues. The SR Men saddle addresses this issue with its relief concept.The saddle features a falling relief channel with a cut-out, which helps evenly distribute the pressure onto the bone structures. The Y-shape design ensures freedom of movement, even when riding in the low position typical for road biking.Additional features of this saddle include relief inlays made with OrthoCell, which provide more comfort and better pressure distribution. The large-area pressure distribution ensures optimal pressure distribution in the sit and pubic bones areas. The saddle also has an effective relief construction, with a deep and rearward increasing relief channel and a proper cut-out, providing high degree of strain relief for the sensitive perineal area.The shape of the saddle maximizes freedom of movement and legroom, while also providing support for all bone structures. The ramp design supports the bottom in the forward tilted riding position, improving pressure relief in the genital area. The flat contour of the saddle surface allows for great freedom of movement.The saddle has an integrated mount for accessories like Topeak® saddle bags. It is made with a carbon composite shell and carbon rails, with a microfibre cover. The padding is made with Orthopaedic AirCell Foam and OrthoCell Pads. The saddle weighs 175g (S/M) or 185g (M/L).Please note that this product is available in two sizes: Small/Medium for sit bone width of 9-12cm, and Medium/Large for sit bone width of 12-16cm.
