Nevis Cycles roots go back to a shed and barn in Spean Bridge operated by Neal Parrish. In 2001 John Thompson opened the Inverlochy branch, the buisness now has 3 owners; Ewan Thorburn a high performing endurance rider, road, gravel & MTB, John MacEachen a highly experienced mechanic with exceptional knowledge who manages the workshop and Emma Holgate experienced rider, MTB coach and guide in the Highlands. The shop aims to keep the same ethos from when origionally started to continually aspire to provide the best possible service we can, selling quality bikes, clothing and accessories.
Since the start the the number of staff has expanded to 10 full time and 8 part time / seasonal who we reguarly train and all mechanics are qualified to meet high industry standards and we've spread out to three shops in Inverlochy village square.
We offer bikes and accessories that we're happy riding or wearing ourselves. Almost all of our staff are qualified mechanics to Cytech 2 at least. We've been ranked as high as 11th in the UK cycle trade for the qualifications of our mechanics. We aim to offer honest repairs at fair prices and we will never present a customer with an unexpectedly high repair bill.
If you're ever unhappy with the service you've received, we're very keen to hear why - we appreciate plaudits but criticism helps us improve. One of the owners of the business (John, Ewan or Emma) will usually be in the shop, so pop in for a chat or email if you'd prefer.
