The newly designed 30 mm wide carbon rim has been painstakingly crafted following rigorous testing both in the lab and out in the field, pushing DT's signature wheel system soaring to new heights, while reducing weight.

Central to the design are the revolutionary Ratchet DEG 240 hubs. Equipped with oversized 90 tooth ratchets for immediate engagement, these hubs offer unparalleled durability and a user-friendly design. In spite of their advanced performance, these hubs maintain ease of service and can even be worked on trailside if needed, thanks to DT's innovative tool-free servicing.

Add that to the Swiss-made Comp Race spokes that are butted down to 1.6 mm. These spokes not only lighter, but also give a more forgiving and damped ride. They offset the added stiffness that carbon rims usually bring, highlighting the benefit of a complete in-house wheel system design and manufacturing.

These wheels also come as standard with both Shimano Micro Spline and SRAM XD freehubs, tubeless tape and high-grade lightweight tubeless valves, when bought as a pair.

The maximum recommended system weight is 130 kg. For a visual representation of weights: expect 27.5 inch wheels to weigh 760 grams at the front, and 899 grams at the rear, and the 29 inch variant to weigh 828 grams at the front, and 967 grams at the rear.
