  • The Dissector by Maxxis is a versatile tyre designed in collaboration with Aussie DH racer, Troy Brosnan. Minimising drag while retaining cornering control, it can be used on the front, as a pair, or on the rear, adapting to a variety of trail conditions.

    • Breaker: DoubleDown - consisting of two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert to provide the support and protection of a downhill tyre in a lighter package.

    • Tubeless Tyre: Tubeless tyres offer lower air pressures improving traction, reduced rolling resistance and decreased likelihood of flats.

  • Wide Trail (WT)

    • The tyre's tread layout and profile are optimised for today's modern, wider rims with WT construction. This helps to avoid an overly square tyre profile which can lead to suboptimal performance. Suitable for a 30-35mm inner rim width range, depending on rider preference.
  • Tubeless Ready

    • The tubeless nature of the Dissector offers numerous benefits: improved traction due to the ability to run lower air pressures, reduced rolling resistance compared to tube-type tyres, and decreased likelihood of puncturing. Note: The use of liquid sealants in non-approved Maxxis tyres will void the warranty.
