Cane Creek is delighted to introduce the new Air IL and Coil IL shocks, which offer exceptional performance in a compact and robust design. The IL shocks incorporate industry-leading DB Twin Tube technology, allowing for a wide range of 4-way damping adjustments. Both the AIR IL and Coil IL models feature a thicker inner damper tube, providing increased strength, as well as a narrower valve body to fit more frames. The AIR IL shock has a smaller outer diameter, increasing the likelihood of a perfect fit and allowing for up to 350psi of maximum pressure. The Coil IL shock includes additional detents on the preload collar for more precise tuning. Each shock is hand-assembled and dynamically tested at our facility in Western North Carolina, ensuring unmatched quality and performance. INLINE SHOCKS WITH TWIN-TUBE DESIGNWhat sets the DBair and DBcoil IL shocks apart is their twin-tube design, which allows for continuous oil circulation through externally adjustable valves. These shocks have two main chambers, one for compression and one for rebound, with the adjustable valves separating them. The main damping piston pushes oil between the chambers through the valves, providing smoother and more consistent damping compared to other shocks in its class. 4-WAY ADJUSTMENTThe DB IL shocks offer an unparalleled range of adjustability with external adjusters that independently control high-speed compression, low-speed compression, high-speed rebound, and low-speed rebound. Unlike other shocks in this category, the DB IL shocks allow riders to fine-tune each phase of damping without any crossover effects. This level of tunability allows for quick adjustments on the trail, enhancing the ride experience to suit personal preferences.CLIMB SWITCHThe DBair and DBcoil IL shocks feature a Climb Switch that engages a set of internal "climbing circuits" to optimize pedal efficiency during off-road climbs. These circuits are tuned specifically for climbing and adjust both low-speed compression and rebound, offering improved performance and control. The shocks also come with an integrated tool nested in the Climb Switch lever for added convenience.LinEair SPRINGThe DBair IL shock is equipped with the LinEair Spring, which requires less force to activate and provides a consistent feel similar to a coil shock throughout its stroke.
