This easy actuation helps to simplify and stabilize the balancing of the rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing, and exact cable tension. As a result, it is the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way. ZeroLoss simply means zero loss of movement. When you push on the lever, whether it's for an upshift or downshift, the cable is engaged instantly. There is no waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.
