The Merida Big Trail 600 is a 29er aluminium hardcore hardtail mountain bike with a Marzocchi Z2 140mm fork, Shimano Deore 1 x 12 drivetrain, and a dropper seat post. This bike has been highly praised by the mountain bike press and trail riders.

Developed through collaboration between UK bike shops and Merida's German R & D team, the Big Trail offers a fun-packed, highly capable ride. Its trail bike geometry, combined with a long travel 140 mm fork and grippy 2.4" wide 29er trail tyres, makes it the perfect companion for exciting trail sessions and demanding all-day rides over rough terrain. It is especially well-suited to UK riding.

The modern trail bike geometry features a slack enduro inspired 65.5° head angle, a steep seat angle, and a long reach. The bike also has a short seat tube, which allows for a low standover height and maneuverability on technical trails. It is compatible with a long travel dropper post.

The versatile geometry ensures that most body sizes work well with most sizes of the Big Trail. Choose a longer size for crazy fast riding, or a shorter size for agility.

In addition to two sets of bottle bosses, the Big Trail has a trail mount under the top tube for carrying tools and extra gear. It is also possible to fit mudguards and a rack for longer treks.
