Cycle Routes

The International Mountain Biking Association voted Scotland as
'one of the best places to ride in the world'

The Great Glen Cycle Route/Mountain Bike Trail
The Trail covers a distance of 80 miles 128 kms between Fort William and Inverness. The magnificent views are well worth the climbs! However not everyone will want to do the entire route and it does have something to offer all ages and cycling abilities. Visit greatglenbikes.com for info on half day/day cycle trips on the Caledonian Canal section of the Great Glen Way.

For more info about this route, visit:- Great Glen Route and Hire info

Old Inverlochy Castle
Only minutes away by quiet back road from our hire centre - you can step back in time by visiting Old Inverlochy Castle and treat your tastebuds by sampling the whisky at the local distillery.

Landscape and Wildlife
The stunning views of the area are recognised in the highest landscape designation of the Ben Nevis and Glencoe National Scenic Area. Don't be put off by the mountains - most roads and trails follow the valleys. Perhaps watching wildlife is your thing? There is always the possibility to see golden eagles soaring high or deer slipping through the forest glade. Experience the scent of wild mountain thyme growing alongside the forest trail in Glen Nevis.
